We can also use support/commands.js folder to use already annotated commands

command.js

// ***********************************************
// This example commands.js shows you how to
// create various custom commands and overwrite
// existing commands.
//
// For more comprehensive examples of custom
// commands please read more here:
// https://on.cypress.io/custom-commands
// ***********************************************
//
//
// -- This is a parent command --
// Cypress.Commands.add('login', (email, password) => { ... })
//
//
// -- This is a child command --
// Cypress.Commands.add('drag', { prevSubject: 'element'}, (subject, options) => { ... })
//
//
// -- This is a dual command --
// Cypress.Commands.add('dismiss', { prevSubject: 'optional'}, (subject, options) => { ... })
//
//

e2e.js file

// ***********************************************************
// This example support/e2e.js is processed and
// loaded automatically before your test files.
//
// This is a great place to put global configuration and
// behavior that modifies Cypress.
//
// You can change the location of this file or turn off
// automatically serving support files with the
// 'supportFile' configuration option.
//
// You can read more here:
// https://on.cypress.io/configuration
// ***********************************************************

// Import commands.js using ES2015 syntax:
import "./commands";

// Alternatively you can use CommonJS syntax:
// require('./commands')
require("cypress-xpath"); // we should include this here to use xpath
